This is Jerry McClure. I have an identical twin name Jimmy McClure. We went to Junior High and High School with David. I remember showing up to a basketball game at Coulwood school in their gymnasium after school hours. David was on his father’s team that evening. It was winter time. David’s father was the coach that the team he was playing on. David’s team didn’t win that night. They were beat by the buzzer by the opposing team.  The opposing team threw up a shot at the buzzer and it went in. It was heart breaking. It snowed that night and we woke up to snow. I think we didn’t have school that day. My identical twin,  Jimmy, was in his ROTC class at West Mecklenburg. This was a military class. At coulwood we would help David with his homework. It was a history class. Mrs. Sprinkle was the teacher. It was the 8th grade. I remember the old mustang he drove to West Mecklenburg.  I’ll miss him. It makes me sad thinking back on these experiences I had with me.
