Born on November 9, 1961, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeffrey was the beloved son of Bobby Jones Raye and the late Ann Boggs Raye.
Jeffrey's life was marked by kindness, resilience, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Bobby; his daughter, Candayce; his brothers, David (Susan) and Norman; two granddaughters; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Boggs Raye.
A 10 AM Graveside service will be held to honor Jeffrey’s life at Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC on September 23, 2025.
Though he is no longer with us, Jeffrey’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
