Jeremy loved sports and was an avid bow hunter. He loved the outdoors and taught his son, Wyatt to respect nature. When Jeremy was a little boy he always said when he grew up he wanted to be a “Hotwire man” like his father. After graduation from East Lincoln High School he went on to work doing just that. Jeremy was his happiest when he was working and coming home to spend time with his son.
Jeremy leaves behind his son, Lewis Wyatt Scott McGinnis; mother and father Kem and Melodie McGinnis; sister Meghan McGinnis and her fiancé David Reece and grandmother Louise Mingus all from Charlotte and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28th at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 1915 Oakdale Road, Charlotte, NC 28216 at 11:00am. The Memorial service will begin at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Lewis Wyatt Scott McGinnis for his college fund.
