I worked with Dick Ballard at Celanese/Fiber Industries from 1977 to 1982. Dick would often come down to the shop during break and liven up the conversation while enjoying our ever present coffee. The most important things we leave behind after this life are good friends and fond memories. I certainly cherish my memories of John Richard Ballard (Dick).

May God comfort his family in this time of great loss.

My prayers are with you. I worked with Dick at Celanese from '65 to '92 when he retired. I always thought very highly of Dick. We shared background stories as well as discussing the best driving route to the Norfolk/Va. Beach area where I traveled to visit my parents.
