John Robert Marshall III

“Jay”

Mr. Marshall, 41, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life April 28, 2011. He was born February 8, 1970, the son of Mrs. Jean Ellen Marshall and the late John R. Marshall, Jr.

In addition to his mother, Jay is survived by a sister, Robbie M. Vollmer of Cape Canaveral, FL; nieces, Tracie V. Blondin and Peyton Obenshain, both of Vero Beach, FL; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jay was a graduate of Oak Hill Academy and attended Central Piedmont Community College. He was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Denver, NC.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Harry & Bryant Company “Chapel in the Oaks”, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte, with the Rev. David Lytle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
