Joseph (Joe) was born on November 2, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joseph Alfred Ross II and Kathleen Emma (Ryan) Ross.
Joe graduated high school at North Mecklenburg High School- then continued his education at Wingate University. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather.
He married the love of his life, the late Pamela Brewer Ross, towards his later years. He loved singing karaoke, watching football, dancing, shooting pool with his children and grilling steaks every Sunday.
Joe is survived by his children, son Eric Joseph Ross, daughter Krystle Ann Ross; sister Sherri Thompson, and grandchildren, Alexis Brooke Mallory, Ryan Benjamin Mallory, and Cameron Grant Ross.
A visitation for Joe will be held Monday July 8, 2024 from 5pm to 6pm at McEwen Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Road Charlotte, NC 28262, followed by a memorial service at 6pm.
