

Born on November 18th, 1938 in El Salvador and was raised by his grandmother. He completed school and became an accountant in his country. In 1963, he came to the United States of America and started his life here. He got married in 1994 to his wife, Blanca Chavez and started his family with her.
Juan was a very happy and positive man. He always found the positive side of life; no matter the circumstances and situations, he would always made sure to find a way to be happy and successful in life. He was a man of faith which made him be the man that he was. He made sure his family had that same faith so that they can live it and pass it to their families. He was the center of attention and was always outgoing. He loved to have fun and loved to spend time with his family and close friends. His interest included planting flowers, cars, and watching a good movie.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Blanca Chavez; four children, Ascension Hernandez, Jaime Hernandez, Valdemar Chavez, and Joselyn Chavez, and five beloved grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on January 22, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC, 28212. The funeral service will take place at the same location on the same day from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Avenue, Charlotte.
