Miss Juanita Yoshi Humphrey departed this life suddenly on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Juanita was born on May 9, 1980 in Jamaica, NY at LaGuardia Hospital. Nita, as everyone called her, was a beautiful and friendly person who enjoyed cooking and doing her hair. Nita was educated in the New York City school system and later attended and graduated from New York nursing school as a home attendant. At the of her passing Nita was employed at the YMCA of Charlotte as a laundry aide. Nita loved her family and she was especially grateful for Michelle Johnson who loved and supported her and her children while residing in North Carolina. Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memory, mother, Wanda Spencer of Queens, NY; father, James Spencer of Charlotte; son, Nicholas Humphrey; daughter, Mykiah Humphrey; two sisters: five brothers; six aunts; five uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery (1626 Oaklawn Cemetery, Charlotte, NC 28216)
