Korianna Maureen Williams

Korianna Maureen Williams, age 29, went home to be with Jesus, her daddy – Vallyn D Williams, grandmothers – Maureen and Elizabeth, and grandfathers – Ralph Sr. and Burton on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

She was born in Orlando, Florida on May 31, 1993. Korianna leaves behind her mom Vickie Dexter, sisters – Maria and Kala; brothers – Tyrone, Keeland and Taylor; aunties – Robin, Kelly, Jackie, Pam, M. Louisa, Barbara and Maural; uncles – Ralph Jr. and Jayar; 13 cousins, 4 nieces and 4 nephews and her beloved fur babies, Ninabell and Bashful who all loved her to pieces!

Kori was a force to be reckoned with; if she loved you, she made sure you knew it. Kori's smile lit up the room as well as her infectious laughter. She loved to take care of people, canoe down the Catawba river, take her fur babies everywhere she went and celebrate holidays with her family and friends! She loved the outdoors especially the beach and the mountains. And, she could preach to anyone including her mama! If you were having a bad day, she would remember what the Lord taught her and pass it on! She loved Jesus and others!

Kori will be greatly missed by her big family and her great number of friends! Yes, she had to deal with so many challenges in life – some by her choice and others allowed by her maker. However, she kept trying to move forward! But now, she is out of pain, no more anxiety and is at peace with her daddy!

A visitation for Korianna will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 PM.
