Kwame was born on January 11th, 1995 in Fayetteville, NC and lived in Charlotte, NC from age 3 until his passing.
Everyone that came to know Kwame could feel how gentle his soul was. Though he tried to ignore it, at heart he was really a big softy. He was honestly a full faceted person. He helped ones in times of need when he didn’t really have much to give. Anyone that knew Kwame well knew his passion was cars, he really loved working on cars. Kwame could fix a car - he could fix anything really.
When Kwame was younger, he also was a competitive gymnast and was coached by his uncle Enouch. He won State Championships on the Pommel Horse event. He was really good on Rings, High Bar and Floor too.
Kwame is survived by parents, Kwame Pugh Sr & Tina Hardrick; grandparents, Sharon Stewart & Enouch Pugh Jr; and Richard & Marilyn Irwin; siblings, Jessica Mealer, Nichole Collins, Andrew Pugh, & Shyla Pugh; Uncle, Enouch Stewart; Aunt Gekesha Strickland-Pugh; nephew Caleb Collins; and his other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins and many great friends.
A funeral service will be held via Zoom. Please contact the family to receive that information.
