Larry D. Thompson, who passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020, was born January 6, 1950 in Nitro, West Virginia. He was the son of Victor Dean Thompson and Romona Cochran Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gail Kendrick Thompson, his brothers Gary L. Thompson of Charleston, West Virginia and Michael D. Thompson, his sister-in-law, Marge Thompson and nephews Andy Thompson and Bobby Thompson of Savage, Minnesota. Larry graduated from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Education. His long career in sales management gave him the opportunity to work with many wonderful colleagues in the grocery and private label soft drink industry. His joy was traveling to new places and sharing those travel experiences with friends and family. His dry wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
