

Lennis Hove Blanton Fuller, beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend passed peacefully November 1, 2024 just shy of her 93rd Birthday. She was born on November 2, 1931 in Newberry, SC, to the late Joseph and Caroline Hove. She is the graduate of Newberry High School in Newberry, SC. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Furman University with Highest Honors. She went to work at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC in the lab. She spent most of her career as a Biology Teacher in Mecklenburg County.
Lennis was a faithful member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church since 1971.
Left behind to cherish her loving memories are Sons, Wayne and Michael Blanton and wife Natalie, four Grandsons, Spencer Blanton wife Ruthie, Jackson Blanton wife Brooklyn, Josh Blanton and Jonathan Blanton. Two Great Grandchildren Katelyn and Silas Blanton.
Lennis is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kemper "P. K." Fuller (her high school sweetheart), Jack Nevins Blanton and her beautiful daughter Mary Caroline Blanton. Her sisters Elizabeth "Bette" Hove Moseley and Barbara "Bobbe" Hove Miller.
Lennis was known for her vast network of long-standing friendships, her strong will, determination and love and support for her family. She was the caregiver to her daughter for 49 years with patience, knowledge and love. She enjoyed many hobbies including Card Games like Bridge, Crochet/Knitting, Reading and Crossword Puzzles.
The family would like to thank the Numerous Caregivers whom allowed Lennis to have her best life the past few years. Rebecca Schneider, Kayla Lendenbaum, Gabby Rape, Kim Bolin and Kathryn Sutton. We would also like to thank the Ashton Grove Community for being wonderful neighbors. She loved her community. If ever anyone should be in heaven and leaning on a soft cloud taking a final rest, it's Lennis.
A visitation for Lennis will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. Service will be Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen United Methodist Church. A private burial to follow.
