Leo Marcus Kea

Leo Marcus Kea, age 41, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Leo graced the world with his presence on February 26, 1983 In Brooklyn, New York to his parents, John Taylor and Laverne Kea. Leo is the second of three children.

Leo grew up in Bushwick, Brooklyn where he made quite a name for himself. He was full of life and had a smile that would light up any room that he walked into. To know Leo is to know he loved life, cutting hair and listening and dancing to music (and boy he could dance his butt off). He believed in loyalty. If he rocked with you, you forever had his.

Leo worked for SAS automatic sprinkler system company for the last four years in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was loved and respected by many. On July 28, 2024 God saw fit to call him home.

Leo leaves to cherish his loving memories his father, John Taylor; mother Laverne Kea; stepmother Carol; grandmother Ruth; brother Claude Kea; sister Ladasha Kea; five children Lanaa Kea, Leo Kea Jr., Syncere Kea, Tru-love Kea and Aaliyah Kea; two grandkids Ny’year and Zayne; two godfathers Randall and Dean; host of nephews, cousins; aunts, uncles and friends.

Although Leo is no longer with us he gets to join his uncle David; grandmother Thelma; grandfather Leo; aunts Liz and Netta.

We love you our son, your loss will forever leave a hole in our lives but we’ll cherish your spirit and memories forever. Until we meet again.
