You'll be missed, Lou.  I didn't get to see you as much after the move from the old store to the new, but I fondly remember the conversations we had.....especially about your time as a tanker during the Korean War....and your time growing up in Brooklyn.  Rest in Peace in our fond memories, sir.

For the last six years that I have been lucky enough to know and work with Lou I can honestly say that I considerd Lou to be a role model for his love of gemology and continuous quest for information.  His work ethic was exemplary.  I sincerely hope that I will be able to have his joy in discovery and sharing of knowledge in my later years.  He was truly an inspiration and will be missed.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Lou since he and Lorraine came to Charlotte in 1997.  I learned a lot about the jewelry business from him.  He was a good friend and teacher.  I will miss him.  Nancy Wampler
