Louise S. Cranford

She was born February 12,1930 in Shelby NC. She was the daughter to the late Lee Hampton Swink and Willie Ophelia Martin.

Louise was a member of GraceLife Church of Pineville, (formerly Stough Memorial Baptist Church) for 65 years. In years past, she served as the Director of the Nursery, a member of the Martha Ministry, Vacation Bible School and the JOY "Just Older Youth" Club.

Louise owned a daycare for many years. She loved and kept many children. We know that Louise had a major impact on those children's' lives; and, also reassured the parents they were in a loving, Christian environment while in her home.

She is survived by her two children, Lee McDonald Cranford of Pineville, Tammie Cranford Gregory (Mike) of Waxhaw; and her granddaughter Lauren Gregory; as well as her sister, Maryann Beam of Cary NC, and her brother Clayton Swink of Charlotte, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert M. Cranford, daughter Linda Gayle Cranford, brothers Miles Swink, Evans Swink, sister Helen Wiles.

A graveside service will be conducted at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery for Louise on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at GraceLife Church of Pineville, 705 Lakeview Dr, Pineville, NC 28134.
