Margaret Skinner Lane, 71, of Indian Trail, NC departed this life peacefully Saturday, August 8, 2015 following a long illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Margaret retired from the City of Charlotte after 21 years. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church of Matthews. She had been involved in children’s work and missions. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Carolyn Skinner and a sister, Marian Jarman. She is survived by her husband, David of the home, daughters, Nikki Seiferlein (Ray) of Mint Hill, Tamara Young (Jeff) of Dacula, GA, 4 grandchildren, Austin Ramsey, Jaclyn, Dalton, & Nicole Young, brothers, Don Skinner (Vicky) and Dave Skinner (Lissa), sister, Martha Kite (Steve) 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Funeral services will be at 12:30 Thursday, August 13th at First Baptist Church in Matthews, Reverends Clay Smith and Ron Gregory officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 12:30PM at the church. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
