Marion Booth Montgomery

Mrs. Marion B. Montgomery, 82, of Dallas North Carolina passed away Monday, November 7th, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on June 1st, 1940 to the late Carl and Eunice Booth. She was a member of Pineville Church of the Nazarene.

Marion enjoyed working as a beautician, cake decorator and floral designer. She had a lifelong love of crocheting beautiful pieces for her family and friends. She loves playing bingo, Candy Crush, building puzzles and Facebooking. She was also a mastermind of shenanigans and bag rattling. Her pride and joy, love and devotion was being involved in the lives of her large family.

Mrs. Montgomery is survivor by her daughters Carlene (Danny) of Charlotte, Kimberly of Dallas, Tracy of Stanley, Tammy Jo (Philip) of Stanley, and son Nicky (Sherri) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; brothers John Booth (Bernice) of FL, Carl Booth Jr (Sandy) of Connecticut; sister Elizabeth Paige (William) of Connecticut; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Montgomery, son Robert F. Donnelly, and grandson Allen McKee.

The family will greet friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 6-8pm at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Pastor Bryan Dill will officiate the funeral service scheduled for 11am on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the McEwen chapel. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery located at 4426 Central Avenue in Charlotte.
