My sincere condolences to Nicole and family. Such lovely thoughts have been posted about a gentleman I never had the pleasure of meeting but having known his beautiful daughter for several years and hearing of her fond memories of her dad (Mel Glass), makes my heart smile! Grace and peace to all who mourn his loss at this time.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Nicole and each member of Mr. Glass' family. I know that my words are inadequate for a time like this, but I hope that your faith will bring you peace, joy, and healing. Mr. Glass has made a profound impact on the world not only through his music, but through the legacy of the intelligent, compassionate, and hardworking daughter he has raised. Zona and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of your dad from when we were younger.   More than anything I remember how good looking and debonaire he was. I think that's where you got it from. She was always sharp and well put together. May your wonderful memories of your dad comfort and sustain you now and forever,

Thank you Grandad  for all the memories. I enjoyed our travels through the south and our checker games. Whenever I hear Breezin’ I picture you strumming and it puts me at ease. I know you’re still playing and enjoying the music on the other side, smiling. 

The “Glass Band” is together now making Heavenly music. Gone but never forgotten, Uncle MJ’s smile will forever remain in our hearts, his memories will forever be in our minds!

I've been close friends with Zona..since we were both starting our family; and that's been over 40 years!  WOW!  I remember Mr, Glass at a gathering and remember him to be one Cool Guy! So spirited, energetic, and entertaining! We shared the same zest for life... and I know Zona will miss her dad... and I am so sorry for your loss!  My deepest condolences to you ...the family!
