The joy of Mike's life was his family and faith. He adored his wife, Mary, of 39 years and was a devoted father and grandfather. Mike was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.

In Mike's free time he loved being around family and friends. He would often host cookouts, plan memorable vacations, and be the life of the party. He was a passionate, kind soul that will be missed by all.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Chris and his wife Elizabeth, Peter and his future wife Meghan, Katie and her future husband Jace; and three beloved grandchildren, Michael, James and Carmen.

The visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Harry & Bryant, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, September 21st at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Reverend Frank O'Rourke officiating. Interment will be private.
