Born April 6, 1974, Michael was a native Charlottean but also loved the exploration of new places. He was a true artist at heart. His medium varied between painting, sculpture, woodworking and music.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah B. Crawford of Monroe; his father, Gregory A. Crawford and stepmother, Lynn Crawford of Waxhaw; his brother, Rembert Crawford and family; and his sister, Brooke Crawford and family.
Michael’s light will continue to shine through his family and friends. He will always be truly missed.
A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25 in Harry & Bryant’s “Chapel in the Oaks”, 500 Providence Road. His family will receive friends following the service.
