Michael "Mike" L. Moser

Michael L. “Mike” Moser passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Ben and Frances Moser. Mike graduated from Myers Park High School in 1984 and began his career as a Police Officer immediately following. He was employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for 30 years before his retirement. During that time he was a member of the SWAT Team, Honor Guard, and a Range Officer for the Training Academy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandfather, E.T. Nivens. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifteen years, Beverly Moser; twin sons, Taylor and Brandon Moser; step-sons, Adam and Hayden Coombes; step-grandchild, Dominic Coombes; brother, Ben Moser ( Susan ); sister, Cheryl Moser Brown (Russ); nephew, Clint Moser and niece and nephew, Allison and Ben Brown. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church located at 11501 Baine School Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rusty Benton officiating.
