Michael Shannon Wheat, 37, of Ft. Mill, SC passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. Shannon was born on May 14, 1974 to the late JoAnn Garmon. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Shaun Ervin. Shannon was a loving father and family man. He is survived by three children, Joshua Douglas Ellis age 20, Brittany Ann Wheat age 16, and Cameron Blake Wheat age 8 and his sister Tonya Krimminger. Shannon was engaged to be married to Margaret Nicole Correll of Spencer, NC. Shannon was big hearted when it came to family and was loved and will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2011, from 12:00 till 2:00 PM., at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC. 28212. A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held, at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Jeff Upright officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
