Dear Family of Ms. Orr,
I met Monica Orr while helping her with an issue as a representative of the company that I work for.  Her tenacity and spirit will not be forgotten.  She was a true fighter and I loved the way she would not take "no" for an answer.  If she would hear the word "no" without missing a beat she would ask "OK-what haven't we tried?". Beginning to write my Christmas cards, as always I thought of Monica and you girls and was shocked to learn of her passing.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Even this far away, I thought of you all often and know well the emptiness that follows.  Your mom was the kind of person who made an immediate connection to people that lasted a lifetime.  I will miss her.

What a wonderful woman you were blessed with for a Mother.  You have my deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.  Monica was my boss for awhile at BASF and then became my friend.  Some of the gals that we worked with got together and had lunch and of course talked about her illness but we also laughed and joked and talked about 'the old days at BASF Chesapeake'.  

I don't have to tell you she was an amazing person; I was blessed to have her in my life and how blessed you are to have her as your Mom.  I am praying for you as you adjust to your Mom being in Heaven.  She will always look down and help you.

Dear Monica's Family,

What a blessing Monica was to all who met her.  I remember only laughter in the Mueller household whether it was driving in the Rambler or trying out the first microwave.  Monica continued her life with the love and laughter that surrounded her as she grew older and with her own family.  As her friend, I will miss her dearly.

I can only imagine how lucky you girls feel to have had Monica as a mother.  She blessed all who knew her with kindness, laughter and light.  I was fortunate to have met her as a young woman and she forever changed my idea of what a happy life could be.  She also taught me by her actions everyday that just because someone was working didn't mean they couldn't have a very good time while they were there.  May your memories of her comfort you now and in the future.

I met Monica while we were both having chemo.  I also have breast cancer.  She was so friendly and kind and always had a beautiful smile on her face.  I am truly sorry for your loss but know you are happy for her that she is no longer suffering.  May God be with the family during the coming holidays and help you to come to terms with your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss.  I met Monica when I interviewed with BASF in 1984 in Columbus, Ohio.  I remember how kind and thoughtful she was to me in that stressful setting.  It was my good fortune to reconnect with her when we were both team members in Charlotte.  She will be greatly missed.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  It seems like yesterday that we all met in Milwaukee for Monny and Terry's wedding and you three were not even around.  Now look how you have all grown.  We have so many memories and pictres of your mom from our wedding as well. Where does the time go.
