Muyapende is survived by his wife, Georgine Mabiala; his son Tumba Kanku; his daughter Masanka Kanku; and his daughter Dinanaga Kanku.
A visitation for Muyapende will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A funeral service will occur Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Mont Carmel International Christian Center Church, 3901 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28205. A committal service will occur at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212.
