Nhan was born on May 31, 1959 in Saigon, Vietnam. He married his wife in 1983 and had three children. In 1995, he moved his family to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he remained and watched his kids grow. His family was very important to him—he left a comfortable life behind to give them a better life. He made sure every need was met and every want was given without spoiling his children. His love was felt through his sacrifices and his steady presence.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Trang Nguyen; three children: Kim Langston, Kristie Le, and Andy Nguyen; as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 siblings.
