Nora K. Poole

Mrs. Poole, 104, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Augusta, GA.

She was born August 4, 1907 in Morganton, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Ben and Effie Harrison Kincaid. For most of her life she had lived in Charlotte, NC where she was a faithful member of Glenwood ARP Church.

The family will greet guests 12 Noon until 1:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2012, at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 PM in the Chapel with The Reverend Jay T. Weigel officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Poole is survived by her sons, Ernest G. Poole of Augusta, GA; Charles A. Poole of Warner Robins, GA and a daughter, Laura Poole St. John of Grantham, NH; brothers, Ralph Kincaid of Morganton, NC; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Loy V. Poole; brothers, Alexander Kincaid and Marvin Kincaid and sisters: Elizabeth Foster, Theresa Silver and Ruby Hemphill.
