Pam Barrett, age 60, of Charlotte, North Carolina, made her heavenly flight to be with Her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Atrium Health Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.
Pam was born on March 6, 1965, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Eulas and Dot Case. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Linda Elliott.
Pam was self-employed alongside her sister and proudly owned and operated a successful cleaning service for many years, retiring in 2025. Known for her strong work ethic and dedication, Pam took great pride in the life she built through hard work and perseverance.
Her second home—and favorite place on earth—was her mountain cabin in Traphill, North Carolina. There, Pam found joy in the simple things: sitting on her porch, listening to music, soaking in the quiet peace of mountain life, and spending time with her husband, Gary, and her cherished red heeler, her “fur baby,” Cheeto. Pam loved the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and riding through Stone Mountain State Park, where she loved watching wildlife.
Pam was well known for her incredible cooking and for entertaining friends with her warm, welcoming hospitality. Her home was a place where people felt comfortable, well fed, and genuinely loved.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 26 years, Gary; her fur baby, Cheeto; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Cathy Case; several nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.
Pam will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared when available.
