Pamela was born January 23, 1928 in Long Island, NY to Louis and Anna (Saitta). She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Saitta. Her husband of 72 years, Joseph A. D’Andrea passed away September 2, 2013 in Vero Beach, Fla. She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Russek, her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, VA, Marylou DiGiorgio, her partner Mort Fisher of Matthews, NC, Christine McNeill, her husband John of Brewster, NY, and Claire Oakley, her husband David of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melissa, her husband Curtis English of Charlotte, NC, Michael Russek, his wife Tijana of Bali,
Indonesia, Christopher DiGiorgio, Lindsay, her husband Jeff Tilley of Randolph, NJ, Kelley
Mulvey, Kevin Mulvey, his wife Lindsay of Asheville, NC, Joseph DiGiorgio, Sydney Oakley, and
Lucas Oakley. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Jackson and Nathan Tilley,
Beckham English, and Oliver Mulvey.
Pamela attended St. John’s University in New York. It was at St. John’s where she met and
married her husband, Joseph D’Andrea. Pamela raised four daughters and was an amazing cook
and homemaker. She enjoyed playing sports, travelled the world with friends and family, and
gave many charitable donations to causes she cared about. She loved to dance, play games and
be surrounded by her family and all the friends she made throughout the various cities and
communities she lived in. She appreciated and shared stories about all of her worldly
experiences. She was a devout Catholic and deeply loved her family.
We will miss her love, her compassion, her intuition, her competitive spirit and her genuine sincerity.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Matthew
Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC.
