Pamela Kaleel Segal

Pamela Kaleel Segal, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, surrounded by her close friends and family. Pamela was born and raised in Charlotte. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Kaleel.

Pamela had many artistic talents, and her mother wanted to send her to Juilliard to pursue her talent in piano. Pamela was blessed with physical beauty, as well as such inner beauty, and decided to share it with the world by pursuing a modeling career. During that time, she met and fell in love with Stuart Segal, dated and married, and had three wonderful children.

She devoted her life to her family with loving care because they meant the world to her, and she to them. She was a very loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She will be so greatly missed. Pamela is survived by her husband, Stuart; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Vikki Kaleel; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Allie Segal and David and Amanda Segal; daughter, Stephanie Segal; granddaughter, Alexis Segal; and step-grandson Kai. All reside in Charlotte.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at the Hebrew Cemetery. It can also be viewed live on the Hebrew Cemetery Association of Charlotte Facebook page.
