Patricia Moore Davis

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 with Pastor Ron Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Following the service, there will be a reception for her family to greet friends in the Old Sanctuary/Chapel.

Patricia was born on October 23, 1940 in Charlotte NC to Samuel Dial Moore and Margaret Phillips Moore. She married her high school sweetheart John (Johnny) Davis in 1956 and they were married 58 years before his passing in 2014. She was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and retired after 15 years as a Certified Medical Assistant.

Patricia was a sweet, kind hearted, fun loving person who never met a stranger. Everywhere she went people were drawn to her and she always brought a smile to their face or a laugh. She was very creative with painting, making baskets and jewelry and after retirement, personalized funny cards for her friends and family.

Patricia was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who dearly loved the Lord and her family. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Woodard (Andrew), grandson Robby Woodard(Kaitlynn), sister, Sandra Hardy (Jack) sister-in-law, Catherine Burris, multiple nieces and nephews whom she treasured, and her beloved dog, Lulu.

Patricia was also preceded in death by her son, Jay Davis, and was spared the grief of knowing about his passing before she died.
