Patricia Irene Helms

Patricia was born in Woonsocket, RI on March 9, 1968. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in Spartanburg SC, class of 1986.

Patricia is survived by her husband George F. Helms III, her son, Jordan Covington (Jessica) and two grandchildren, Lilliana and Zoey. She is also survived by her parents Robert and Paulette Morin, her brothers Michael Morin (Beth), Jimmy Morin (Emily), Peter Morin (Beth), David Morin (Angela), and her sisters Nancy Ballew (Carey), and Susan Cantrell. She had numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia is predeceased by her daughter, Erica Faith Helms, her paternal grandparents David and Mathilda Morin and maternal grandparents Hubert and Irene Mandeville.

Patricia was the most loving mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed camping, bicycling, and shopping for her grandchildren. If you ask any of her friends or family, they would say she had nothing but pure love for her son, nieces, nephews, and certainly most of all her two grandchildren.

Patricia loved the Lord and was a member of Brent Lox Baptist Church in Portsmouth VA. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park at 9:00AM followed by a graveside service at 10:00AM. She will be laid to rest beside her daughter Erica F. Helms.
