She considered her sister, Katy, to be “her person” and her best friend. She also loved her cats – Mrs., Nina, Kiki, Georgia, Cozmo, Cheddar, and Cobie.
Patt is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Poliderakis, her parents, and grandparents.
Patt is survived by her daughter Kristen Honeycutt (Jim Burns), and her son Michael Mitschele (Sara Morris); her sister Katy Pett (Geoff), and brothers William Collopy (Carol), and Michael Collopy; her grandchildren Savannah Honeycutt and Anderson Burns; nieces Carrie Hill (Steve), Renee Thompson, nephew Bill Collopy and all of their children; her Aunty “Rhee”, 5 beloved cousins and their families.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte (hpccr.org).
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care - Charlotte Region and Elmcroft of Little Avenue. Special thanks to her caregivers Priscilla, Jade, and Tara who took such good care of her throughout her journey. Extra special thanks to Susan Babcock, our “angel”, who loved her and cared for her as if she were her own.
A graveside service and celebration of her life will be held later in Chicago when all who loved her can attend.
