I had to write a note to say thank you......thank you to everyone for their sweet and thoughtful......no, exceptional and insightful notes regarding my brother Chip. I cannot begin to tell you how much we miss him. By the way I am his sister, Lindsay. I don't know what made me check on the guestbook tonight. It's because I miss him terribly....and I found a string of precious people from all over the country who knew him. What a gift you all have given me. Thank you all again for your kindness....

Coldfuse (Fuse) was a very special online friend for many years. His wisdom and wit got me through some of the toughest times.  I will always have fond memories of our Answerpool days. My deepest condolences to his dear friends and family. -Clarebear

Very saddened to hear of this news. I too had met Chip online and we had chatted and become friends over the years. My love and sympathies to the family. Take comfort knowing he is not gone, he has just gone ahead.

Chip had so many friends that he'd never met in person from AnswerPool. He always had a quick wit and a well researched answer. He was a pleasure to chat with. My  condolences to his family.

Hello to the family of Chip.  I too was one of his online friends.  I am only today finding out of his passing. He was a delight to participate in online Q&A activities with. My condolences to the family and friends.

I too knew Chip (Coldfuse) through a couple of websites for several years, and he was always a bright light with interesting things to say. I am sad to just today hear of his passing.

I was very sorry to learn of Chip's passing. We were friends on a site called AnswerPool, where I knew him as "Coldfuse." We talked many times in chat with our other friends. I always enjoyed his quick sense of humor. I think that will be my fondest memory of him. Love and Prayers to all the family.

Dear Sisk family - I am another of Chips "friends" from AnswerPool, and was deeply saddened today to learn of his recent passing.  He was a very special person, and I always enjoyed online or phone interactions to get his perspective on a problem.  I know I will think of Chip often, and always fondly.  My condolences :(

Hard to believe Chip is gone. We were both Enthusiasts of the Month at Ask Jeeves before it folded. He was funny, friendly, and always researched things that he answered. A class act.

I'm saddened at learning of the news of Chip's passing 8 months ago. I "met" him in 2001 through AnswerPool, a Q&A site where various subject matter enthusiasts answered questions posed by the general public. Many of us from that site became friends and would exchange cards on the holidays and organize meetings when traveling and I am one of the lucky ones who had the chance to meet Chip in person. He was thought so highly of by many of the AP members. He always had a kind word to say and would strive to be uplifting and supportive. He was a good friend to many and his memory will live on in the stories we share. My deepest condolences to the Sisk family.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Chip. I met him not long after his son Graham passed. We actually connected via phone. He had heard about our support group"Broken Hearts, Better Days" and we ended up talking for over an hour about our children, our families, etc. He had such a kind spirit and he was such a humble man. My heartfelt prayers &condolences go out to his wife and the entire family. RIP

I worked with Chip back in the late 80s at Piedmont.  He was a good person and I enjoyed working with him.  I was sorry to hear he had passed away and offer my condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Chip's passing. He was a wonderful man and good friend. Chip always had a smile and good word and helped lift my spirits on many occasions even when he was handling his own issues. I know he loved his wife, daughter, and grand-daughter. He will be missed and the world is a lesser place without him.

I mourn with you all and will miss Chip very much. He was a man who made you feel comfortable within the context of frequent visits or less frequent ones. We just "picked up from where we left off" each & every time.  I am truly very sorry to hear about Chip's passing.  He was a wonderful friend, teammate, and colleague.  I fondly remember our time together in Charlotte, at Woodberry Forest, and at Washington and Lee.  I want to send my deepest sympathies to Jess, his daughter and grandchildren, and his sisters.  May God be with you all in the days ahead.

My heart goes out to Jess and Chip's family. Chip was larger than life in his generosity and ability to love.  I am praying you feel God's loving arms around you as you grieve this unbelievable loss.

My condolences go out to Jess and Chip's family. I knew Chip and his family for a short time but I was totally impressed with Chip's cheerful personality and his interest in others. I was shocked at his passing and know that he left us much too early.

His commitment to the legacy of his late son and his generosity toward supporting others who have experienced similar personal loss was a testament to his loving and compassionate nature.
