

Born April 7, 1958, in Charlotte, Chip was the son of the late Robert Van Sisk and Mary Lance Van Every Sisk. He was a proud alumnus of Woodberry Forest School and Washington and Lee University, and spent his career with Piedmont Engineering Corp and The Hollingsworth Companies.
A beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, Chip was epitomized by his humor, wit and generosity of spirit. With a gentle and compassionate nature, he encouraged and uplifted those who were blessed to know him.
Chip was preceded in death by his son, Graham Stephen Sisk, and his brother, Philip Van Every Sisk.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jess; his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cooke (Andrew) and granddaughter, Madeline Frances Cooke of Minneapolis, MN; his sisters, Mary Lance Sisk McGinn (Dan) of Marvin, Lindsay Sisk Monaghan (Bob) of Raleigh, and Carolyn Sisk Williams (Jim) of Cumming, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Harry & Bryant, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte on Sunday, November 15th, from 12:30 to 2:15 pm, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery.
