Bob was my "church dad" through the high school years in Detroit. His kindness, commitment, and love to me will always be a part of me. Those camping days with Bob and the boys are memories as though they were yesterday... my love and prayers go to all the Greene family. Thank you for your input into my life - "I love you, Bob."

I was sorry to learn of Mr. Greene's passing. I wanted to come to his funeral, but sadly was unable to do so.
I loved that man! He was so friendly, he could make friends with anyone of any age! To Mike, Joe, and Judy, and all of his family, I extend my heartfelt sympathy. God bless all of you.

Uncle Bob was my favorite uncle for as long as I can remember.  I babysat for them when the kids were little.  Some of my most memorable times were deer hunting in Michigan and Ohio.  He had such great stories of the ones that got away.  I didn't care if we got a deer or not.  It was the stories and the fellowship with Uncle Bob, Uncle Paul, dad, and Glenn that made it all worth while.  The thing I admired most though was that Uncle Bob was a man of God.  He loved the Lord and his everyday life showed it.  He always reminded me of Fred McMurray as the father on the TV series "My Three Sons".  He was a great listener and always seemed to have the right thing to say.  He and Aunt Margie were the perfect match and my family and I enjoyed our times together, whether here in Ohio, in Charlotte or at the beach.  Our youngest son is named Christopher Robert as a sign of our love and respect for Uncle Bob.  You are missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Greene family.

Bob and Margie were favorites of mine, they lived what they believed and will always have a place in my heart

Grandpa you will be sorely missed on Earth but I know you are in Heaven rejoicing in the fact that you have finally been reunited with the love of your life. Give Grandma a big hug from me. Thank you for being the best man I know and my hero. You taught me so much about life, love and generosity and I pray that I will make you proud.

I haven't seen my Uncle Bob in a number of years, but I can still hear his laughter.  He was such a wonderful, fun, charismatic man.  He was always my most favorite uncle...mostly because he was my Dad's little brother.  I have so many wonderful memories... Taking my daughter and 2 of my grand daughters to his condo on Myrtle Beach, stopping at his house along the way to spend time with him and Aunt Margie...Him wrestling with the kids on the floor and them climbing all over him... Even they, who never met him, knew what a great "Great-Great Uncle" he was.  Playing golf one summer with he and Dad at our country club... I could go on and on.  To know Uncle Bob, was to Love Uncle Bob.  He was the last of an amazing family.  Say hello to Dad, Mom, Aunt Margie, Glenn, and all the rest who went before us.  Love You... Marty Greene Nabakowski
