

Bob was born on October 15, 1928, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Carl August and Adele Nadler. He was predeceased by his first wife of 54 years, Doris (Quirk), grandson Mark Edward Nadler and brother Carl George Nadler.
Bob is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his children and their spouses, Barbara and Jess Fearrington, Robert and Evelyn Nadler, his grandchildren and their spouses, Genny and Alex Brooks, Katherine Nadler and Gabe Canzi, Anna and John Fearrington, and four great-grandchildren.
Bob graduated from Dickinson High School and was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korean War. After leaving the Army, Bob was a Special Agent for the Office of Naval Intelligence assigned to the New York, NY and Newark NJ office. In 1963 he graduated from Rutgers University.
After graduating from Rutgers, Bob worked as an FBI Agent and was assigned to Springfield, IL, Danville, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Steubenville, OH, and New York, NY, retiring from the Charlotte, NC division. While assigned to the New York Division he was the truck hijacking coordinator and when in the Charlotte Division he was the bank robbery coordinator. Bob was the recipient of a number of incentive awards and personal letters of commendation from the FBI Director.
Following his retirement from the FBI in 1984, Bob worked for the Motion Picture Association of America and was the first field representative for the National Football League assigned to the Carolina Panthers. He also worked as a private investigator in North Carolina.
Private burial will be scheduled at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. A Celebration of Life will be announced by his family at a later date.
