Roger Noel Dickey

Roger was the son of the late Stanley Walter Dickey and Anne Wilson Dickey. He attended Trinity College in Hartford and later graduated from Columbia University in New York City after proudly serving six years in the United States Marine Corps.

A certified public accountant, Roger built a distinguished career in finance and international business. While living in London, he served as Chief Financial Officer for United States Lines for Europe and the East Bloc. Upon returning to the United States, he continued his work as a CPA before establishing his own export business.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Parker Dickey of the home; nephew, Gregory Pierce Doyle of Atlanta; niece, Kimberly Doyle Weston of Cromwell, CT and brother, Jon Scott Dickey of North Madison CT and Florida. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith Dickey Doyle, and parents.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 11am, with a reception to follow.
