Ron, 71, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Asheville, NC. Ron was born November 13, 1945 in Charlotte and the son of the late Bruce & Vivian Byerly Ron is graduate of Garinger High School and furthered his education at East Carolina University where he earned a Doctorate. Ron spent more that 25 years in the fininancial services comunity, having recently retired from Met Life. Ron most enjoyed gardening & golf He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joy; his sons Michael & Ryan; daughters Becky, Rhonda & Diane; grandson Tommy; brother Steve. He is preceded by his late brother Richard.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park at 2:00 PM. A graveside service with Military Honors will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
