

Charlotte - Ronald Lawrence Sullivan “Larry” age 59, a native of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 5, 1956 to Jeanne White Sullivan and the late Ronald F. Sullivan. Those that will miss Larry in their lives the most are his wife Denise; his beloved Golden, Macy; his mother, Jeanne White Sullivan; his sister, Kay Johnston (Fred), and their daughters, Brittany and Hannah; his sister, Carolyn Sullivan and her son, Gregory; his brother, Jim Sullivan (Heather), and their daughters, Mandy and Allison; and his forever friends, Steve and Jean Stewart.
Larry attended East Mecklenburg High School and UNC Chapel Hill. He was a big Tar Heel and Panther fan. Larry spent his career in analytical instrumentation sales. He had a love of aviation and was an avid pilot for 38 years. He was involved in Monroe’s Warrior and Warbirds Airshow for many years. His favorite destinations were Ocean Isle Beach and his mountain cabin. He enjoyed boating and spending time on the water. Larry loved his friends and the good times he spent with them. He will be remembered most for his witty and entertaining sense of humor.
It was Larry’s wish that we celebrate his life and we will honor that wish on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at The Lower Providence Community House Cabin beginning at 1 pm. Private interment will be held at Myers Park Presbyterian Church Columbarium.
