Ronald Leon White (Ron) was born May 6, 1959 in New York City and passed away Wednesday December 28, 2016 in Charlotte, NC at the young age of 57 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Ron served in the US Army in his younger years and served the state of NC as a Juvenile Court Counselor Supervisor. Ron’s career throughout his life consisted of mentoring, coaching, and helping children become successful in life. His kind heart, smile, and words of encouragement will be missed.
Ron is survived by his wife Elsie; children Mazaliyah (Orenthal) Morris, Tiedra White, Stephanie White, Keith Ortiz, and Ashley Ortiz; granddaughters, Madison Morris, Maliyah Morris, Madilyn Morris, and Eliana White; and his daughter’s mother (Nimah White). He is also survived by siblings Cheryl White Grier, Roland White, Jeanine White, and Jeff White.
