Rosella Elam Starnes, 82, of Charlotte, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 19, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born, May 19, 1931, to the late Herbert L. and Edna B. Elam.
She was also predeceased in death by her faithful husband, Keith C. Starnes, and her beloved brother and sister, Louis B. Elam and Evelyn June Elam. She is survived by her four sons, Dennis and wife Lynn; Alan; Steven and wife Jeannie; and Casey and fiancé Lisa; her grandchildren, Lindsey Smithey and husband Paul; David and wife Megan, Ashton, Grant and Taylor Starnes; and her precious great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Thomas and Ella Rose. She is also survived by her many friends at Park Road Baptist Church where she was a Charter Member.
Rosella fought the good fight and never waivered in her faith. A true southern lady, she always put others before herself. She loved and was loved dearly by her family.
