Roy Michael Ryberg

Born March 13, 1927 in Chicago, IL, Roy was a son of the late Godfried and Selma Benson Ryberg.

Roy was a US Army veteran serving in Panama during WWII and retired in 1999 as an auto mechanic from Kirk Brown Auto Repair. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

His wife of 65 years, Grace Walsh Ryberg survives along with his sons, Patrick Ryberg and wife, Janet, Daniel Ryberg, Scott Ryberg and wife, Marie and Jeff Ryberg and wife Ty; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Ryberg, Kasey Simpson, Julie Robinson, Robert Ryberg and Danielle Ryberg; and 6 great grandchildren, Cailyn Ryberg, Jessie Robinson, William Ryberg, Shelby Ryberg, Kinsleigh Foster and Chase Simpson.

A funeral mass is planned for 11:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Scarcella as celebrant. Friends may visit one hour prior to the services at the church located at 4207 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215.
