She is preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Briscoe; one sister, Leola Jefferson of Augusta, Georgia.
Ms. Ruby Reid is survived by one son, CQ Briscoe of New York City; one daughter, Ruby Singleton (Denver Singleton) of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Alberta Caldwell of Virginia Beach, VA and Belenna Hough (Calvin Hough) of Cornelius, NC; and six great grandchildren, Shakeetheia Caldwell, Ricky Caldwell, Davious Buie, Tre Buie, Canaan Buie, and Jada Caldwell.
