

A Greensboro native, Stephanie was a 2003 graduate of Page High School. She attended Western Carolina University, graduating in 2009 with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Stephanie was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. For the past 2 years, she has been employed by Blue Tree Systems. Her business trips took her across the United States and also allowed her to fulfill a lifelong dream to visit Ireland.
Her passport reflects her life of adventure with stamps from Israel, South Africa, Ghana, Punta Cana, Ireland and Mexico to name a few. An adventure seeker, Stephanie took advantage of her location, repelling down mountains and even swimming with sharks.
Stephanie lived life with passion. She was artistically gifted as a talented dancer and had a great singing voice. She had a love for music, books and movies - she was very excited about the return of “Will & Grace”.
The memory of Stephanie lives on through her sister, Ashley of San Francisco, CA; father, Phil Warshauer, his wife Beth and her children Lee and Anna Daniel of Charlotte, NC; grandfathers, P.D. Ostwalt of Colfax, NC and Stu Warshauer of Kendall Park, NJ; her faithful canine companions, Roxy and Kuma; as well as many extended family members and an abundance of close friends.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her mother, Alisa Louise Ostwalt and grandmothers, Iris Louise Ostwalt and Lauretta Stahl Warshauer.
A Memorial Minyan will be held at 12 pm Friday, October 6th and 7 pm Saturday, October 7th at Temple Beth El, 5101 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC and also 4 pm Sunday, October 8th at Temple Emanuel, 1129 Jefferson Road, Greensboro, NC. Interment at the Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte will be private.
