Born in Seymour, Indiana on February 2, 1953, he is the son of Charlotte Parker Jacobs and the late Herschel Jacobs.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Colleen Riley Jacobs; 2 daughters, LeeAnna Perry and her husband, Justin and Lisa Williams and her husband, Chad; three grandchildren; Asher, Jude and Lincoln; and a brother,Rob Jacobs.
A brother, Danny Jacobs, preceded him death.
