Susan Monk, age 71, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at her home in Charlotte. She was in the company of her husband, Michael R. Monk of which she was married to for 50 years.
Born August 8, 1950, in buffalo, New York. The daughter of William Davis and Dorothy Thornton Davis.
She graduated from Kenmore East Senior High School.
Susan was an executive secretary for 17 years for the Carolinas Business Interiors Company.
She is survived by Michael R. Monk, son Richard C. Monk and two grandchildren Nicholas Monk and Samantha Monk.
Susan excelled at pistol combat competition earning a master level at the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club and obtaining advanced pistol training such as at The Blackwater Training Center.
A private service will be held with family.
