Susan Bridges Stevens

Susan, the most loving mother, spouse, aunt, daughter, sister and friend is survived by her husband, Eric: children, Sam and Anna; parents, Ann and Paul; and brother and family, John, Carla, Sara and Ben.

Susan attended Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, PA before matriculating to West Virginia Wesleyan where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. Upon graduation Susan moved to Charlotte and not long after met Eric, who would become the love of her life.

Susan worked in healthcare, providing care for the elderly before becoming the Controller for a family-owned business. She retired to focus on parenting with the arrival of her beloved children, Anna and Sam. She was a wonderful mother and friend. Her ability to connect, laugh, support, provide and love will forever be engrained in all who enjoyed the pleasure of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on October 7th at McEwen Funeral Services – Pineville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please give donations to The Humane Society of Charlotte.
