Thomas Harry Fritz (Tom) 72, passed away, Sunday, October 3, 2021, surrounded by family at Presbyterian Hospice Medical Center. He was born September 19, 1949, to Harry W. Fritz, Jr and Margaret Jean Fritz.
Tom graduated with honors from Mercersburg Academy in 1967 and Dickinson College in 1971 where he was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Tom recently retired as President of Fritz Equipment Service. He will be remembered for his fun loving, quick-witted personality. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and amazed friends with his memory of the players, scores and baseball in general. He also will be remembered for his love of music. Tom was a dog lover and prided himself in not missing a day taking his 2 dogs, Barney and Reece, for their daily walks.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Margaret and his father Harry W. Fritz, Jr.
He is survived by his two loving daughters, Mary Kondratowicz (Ryan) of Woodstock, Ga., and Sarah Haraveth (Dave), of Mint Hill, NC, his faithful companion, Hope Powers, Concord, NC, grandchildren, Alaina, Levi, Ezra, Mariah and Josh Kondratowicz, mother, Jean Fritz, Charlotte, NC, sister Ellen Fuller (Donnie), Buford, Ga. brother John Fritz (Linda), Indian Trail,NC, Uncle Jim Cox (Arvella) Cumberland, Md and several nieces and nephews.
