Tri Van Luong, age 72, of Dallas, NC, formerly of San Diego, CA, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Born September 20, 1952 in Tuy Hoa, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Mich Luong and Nhung Thi
Nguyen. He was the husband of the late Loi Tran.
Tri retired from the auto industry as a mechanic for more than 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Truc (Lamont) Horton, Vu (Ai Pham) Dang, Nelly Luong, Tony Luong, Jimmy Luong and Johnny Luong; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Tri was preceded in death by his son, Terry Luong.
