"Nanny"
Mrs. Bailey, 94, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. She was born in Pineville on April 17, 1918 to John and Clara McManus. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Perkins (Dennis) and Joy Crom, two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, all of Charlotte, NC, also her beloved dog "Buddy" and cat "Precious". She was preceded in death by husbands L.L. Bailey and David E. Wilkins. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28212. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dan Kirk officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
