Virginia Mikkelsen MacGuire

Mrs. MacGuire was a co-founder with her late husband, William J. MacGuire, of MacGuire Instrument Co. and, after his death, of MacGuire and Crawford, Inc., manufacturers’ representative for industrial instruments.

She was a graduate of the Arts & Sciences College of Cornell University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. A former board member of Opera Carolina and Carolinas Concert Association, she was also an elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church, a member of Myers Park Country Club and the Auxiliary and the Friends of the Mint Museum of Art.

Mrs. MacGuire is survived by her children and grandchildren.
